PHOSPHÈNES
by Clément Paradis, Maki, Franck Déglise, Caroline Victor & Andrea Graziosi

Conceived for the 2015 Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles, Phosphènes gathers the works of five photographers: Maki, Clément Paradis, Andrea Graziosi, Caroline Victor and Franck Déglise.
Having in common their work on the photobook and a taste for experimentations in black and white, these five photographers present here their latest works:
Andre Graziosi's Nunc Stans is a hallucinatory series, a road trip around the Sainte-Victoire mountain, where dreams and reality mix in the fog.
- Franck Déglise's Garde Fou explores the relationship between experience and photography, future and memory, tracing the path of a traveler-photographer.
- Clement Paradis' Sound of Midnight shows nocturnal photographs to make us discover our world of contradictions, where lightness mix with the most stubborn bitterness of the modern times.
- Caroline Victor unveils her series Le Point aveugle where she reveals those intimate spaces that remain forever unattainable.
- Maki's Japan Somewhere series is a work in progress unlimited in time, in which he explores his approach of Japan and Japanese culture.
